Dear friends, I have compiled my list of activities that will guarantee you a festive mood during Christmas time.
Fairs
Christmas markets. On December 1, the city’s main fair finally opened in Piazza Duomo. And don’t forget to visit the other festive markets in the city. The full list is available here.
December 2-10 – Artigiano in Fiera. A very important Milanese gastronomic and artisan international fair with delicacies from all parts of Italy. Check the official website for detailed information.
Cultural and art events
December 8, 9 – concert “Disney the sounds of magic” with soundtracks from your favorite cartoons performed by the Milan Symphony Orchestra
December 5 – January 14, in honor of Christmas, you can see the fresco “The Baptism of Christ” by Pietro Perugino for free at Palazzo Marino.
December 16, 17 – The Nutcracker ballet at the Arcimboldi Theater. There are very few tickets left, so hurry up!
December 29 – January 1- concert La Nona: concerto di Capodanno – Beethoven’s 9th Symphony performed by the Milan Symphony Orchestra.

December 6 – the city’s main Christmas tree inauguration in Piazza del Duomo

Jo Malone’s Gingerbread Village at Piazza XXV Aprile (December 6 – January 6) In addition to decorating Piazza Prealpi, the perfume brand is preparing for us a London-style Christmas with a gingerbread house, a Christmas tree and special events to celebrate the launch new Gingerbread Biscuit flavor.
Four Seasons Hotel Milano presents Unwrapping Christmas in collaboration with Maison Acqua di Parma, designed by Vincenzo Dascanio, who created a fairy tale by decorating the hotel lobby with Christmas balls and giant bows in noble emerald and gold colors. The perfect place to pop in during Christmas shopping to warm up with a tea or coffee at the lobby bar.
Stores in a Christmas atmosphere
Raw Milano. At Christmas time this concept store becomes simply fabulous, here you can find inspiration for the interior design of your home, as well as purchase decorations, garlands, and candles to create a festive atmosphere both for yourself and as a gift.
Ecliss. Traditionally, at this time, Ecliss transforms from a home-decor boutique into a paradise of Christmas decor in a fairy-tale atmosphere and great selection of gifts.
Montenapoleone district. The most luxuriously decorated street in Milan for Christmas. The best option is to combine two pleasant things at once: go shopping in search of the desired gifts from the wish list and at the same time admire the stunning decorations of windows and boutiques that brands decorate for the holiday.
Scalo Milano. Vincenzo Dascanio studio team also worked on the Christmas exhibition of the Scalo outlet – this year’s theme is an enchanted forest with its magical inhabitants, so little visitors to the outlet will especially appreciate the decorations.
